We’re excited to announce that Climate Museum Senior Advisor Darian Dauchan will be in from LA to lead two very special programs this month. The Museum has been lucky to collaborate with Darian, an extraordinary artist, entertainer, and activist, on youth and public programs since 2019. As a workshop leader, Darian draws on techniques rooted in his deep background in theater, music, and writing. You can expect many elements from those worlds, delivered with humor and high energy, at both this program and the one on November 15. You can find more about Darian's artistic work as an actor, writer, and musician at dariandauchan.com and brobotjohnson.com.
Come check out the Museum’s first-ever climate speed-friending event to make some new climate-interested friends and enjoy a lively evening! Participants will engage in interactive community-building activities; take climate action; mingle; explore the Museum’s current exhibition, THE END OF FOSSIL FUEL; test their climate and culture trivia knowledge; win prizes; get inspired by Darian’s deejaying and good humor; and more! Free wine and beer will be served; open to participants 18+, with 21+ proof of age required for drinks.
