Sustainable Art Practice: Living Materials, Biomaterials, & the Future of Art Making is a workshop led by local artist Lolo Ostia. Driven by curiosity, an interest for sustainability, biological design, and audience engagement, Lolo channels inspiration into crafting immersive environments. Characterized by a playful use of scale and dimensional layers, her installations aim to transport the viewer into a place where perception, sensation, and emotion meet. Her artistic endeavors have been showcased in exhibitions across New York since 2012 and has been awarded for her Documentary Series on New York Fashion Week. Professionally, Lolo held roles as Producer and Director of Photography. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, among many others.
This workshop is free and open to attendees of all ages.
