The Princeton Summer Journalism Program will run a multi-week, hybrid summer intensive from late June through early August, beginning with virtual classes and culminating in a residential experience on the Princeton University campus.
Students complete three rounds to apply for PSJP.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Be a current junior in high school at the time of application
- Reside in the United States or Puerto Rico and plan to attend a domestic 4-year college. Students living and attending school abroad, including U.S. citizens, will not be considered under any circumstances.
- Have a minimum unweighted grade point average of 3.5 out of 4.0 (roughly an A- average).
- Have an interest in journalism.
- one core class teacher who will submit a recommendation on their behalf
- a school staff member who will submit their high school transcript, junior year report cards (if grades do not appear on the transcript), and a profile of their high school. This is typically a school or college counselor.
