Are you interested in archaeology? Are you familiar with GIS and ArcGIS? This is the perfect opportunity for you!
The American Conservation Experience (ACE) is offering a Cultural Resources GIS Member internship through its Cultural Resources Diversity Internship Program (CRDIP). ACE is looking for current graduate or upper-level undergraduate students. The selected intern will create a map of archeological sites, create essential resources, and communicate with partners and other organizations and groups. The student will also have a chance to work with other GIS staff for support.
The intern will work from Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM, but schedules are also flexible. ACE will provide a $700/week allowance every two weeks. This opportunity also offers housing on Fire Island or elsewhere in Long Island.
*Intern MUST have a valid driver's license*
