Gain experience in healthcare-based community engagement and communications during this 8-week internship with the Community Engagement and Health Equity team in MSK’s Marketing & Communication department.

Intern Responsibilities will be a mix of communications, administrative, analytic, and event-support activities, including:  

  • Completing overviews of the geographic areas surrounding each MSK facility, with a focus on area demographics, elected officials, key community and health equity organizations, and public health/cancer-focused data. 
  • Helping update the database of MSK’s community-facing programs. 
  • Writing short pieces for the team’s email newsletter to community members. 
  • Assisting MSK staff in organizing, setting up for, and carrying out community events, and helping to manage the team’s community events calendar.
