Genspace NYC - Break into Biotech Program

Genspace is recruiting for their second cohort! This FREE, hands-on, lab-based, skills training program from Genspace NYC is for anyone who wants to break into the life sciences/biotech industry, whether you have a STEM degree or not. No prior experience is required.

Break into Biotech program provides access to hands-on training, networking, mentorship, and career development opportunities necessary for learners to break into New York City’s rapidly growing biotechnology sector.

The program is organized into three components, all focused on preparing learners for industry jobs:

1. Experiential learning workshops
2. Project-based learning through our membership program
3. Networking and events for professional development 

Application Eligibility:

• Hold High School diploma or GED
• Current NYC resident
• Provide 2 references
• Commit to participating from September- November 2024
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Submit completed application

Deadline: July 10 @ 11:59 PM; Will earn a $1K stipend after completion of the program
