NY-RaMP for Diversifying the National Biology Workforce through New York Trans-disciplinary BioSciences is a paid one-year research and scientific career development program for recent college graduate students. Experience laboratory immersion in biology and cell signaling in independent research with a team of active scientists.
The specific projects that each scholar will work on depend on the research expertise of that laboratory. Much like the New York City transit system, the interconnected research programs of NY-RaMP blend basic science approaches by linking discrete scientific teams into collaborative groups that connect to form a community. Each year, ten NY-RaMP Scholars will be admitted to the program and receive a stipend of $35,000 for the year.
