Program Overview The Rockefeller University SSRP is a mentored biomedical research program. Unlike many other programs where students watch, here students do. You will join a research team and contribute to actual scientific discovery.

What You Will Do

  • Core Research: Design and conduct discovery-based experiments in areas like neuroscience, immunology, and genetics.
  • Curriculum: Attend "Core Series" lectures from world-renowned scientists.
  • Communication: Present your findings at a closing symposium to peers and faculty.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Current High School Juniors or Seniors (must be age 16+ by program start).
  • Must attend a high school in the NYC area.

Strong interest in biomedical science (previous research experience is not required, but passion is).

Logistics

  • Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan.
  • Duration: 7 weeks (June–August).
  • Deadline: January 2, 2026.
