NY Stem Cell Foundation offers a 10-week paid summer internship program for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students.
Program Tracks:
1. Laboratory Research Track (Onsite only)
• Conduct project-based research in the NYSCF Research Institute
• Work under guidance of a NYSCF scientist
• Matched with mentors based on available projects, experience, and interests
• Location: NYSCF Research Institute in New York City
2. Automation/Software Engineering Track (Hybrid available)
• Support development of the NYSCF Global Stem Cell Array®
• Work on robotic system that automates iPSC derivation and differentiations
• Hybrid opportunities considered (must commit to onsite work 4 days/week minimum)
• Fully virtual internships not available
Eligibility:
• 18 years or older by June 2, 2025
• High school, undergraduate, or graduate student
• High proficiency in Mac and PC, Microsoft Office
• Strong interest in stem cell research
