Applications are accepted three times per year—for the winter, summer and fall terms. Applications are open in the summer for the fall cohort.
As a BOLD intern, you’ll assess the quality-of-life needs of cancer patients and their families, helping to understand their unique challenges and concerns. You’ll connect community members with resources that can make a real difference in their cancer journey. Your role will include assisting with community outreach initiatives to ensure people who need support are aware of available services. You’ll also support program operations and data management, contributing to the effectiveness of BOLD’s programs. Throughout your internship, you’ll complete a mentored research project that will be shared with peers and professionals across Montefiore Einstein.
The internship provides valuable experience working as a patient navigator while offering two $500 stipends distributed over the program duration.
